Truth be told, I actually have no clue how Blogger works. I'm not doing any networking, I'm not following any other blogs, I don't know how I'd even find other pages on this site. So the fact that complete strangers are not only managing to find this blog, but are also leaving comments on it as well is nuts!
Now, we do live in the horrific age of AI, so there's a pretty good chance that all these people might actually be, like, real dead-internet-theory bots and I'm really just talking to an audience of none. But this also happens to be the age of mass psychosis as well, and if I'm going to be honest with you, I'm very willing to indulge in a little psychosis for the sake of living an interesting life.
Jeez, what a depressing reality we now find ourselves in. I've met people in person who actually need LLM's in order to get through the day. I saw this video not too long ago of these people who were just the upmost socially reclused kind of people I could imagine. People with the worst anxieties, lacking any social experience, entrenced in internet psychosis, leading the loniest lives imaginable. The video started with one of the people talking to this little computer necklace thing that had an AI chatbot installed in it. They told it something along the lines of "I would've taken my own life if it wasn't for your help... You helped me get through so much..." as if it was, like, a genuine friend of whom they owed their lives to. Their necklace just replied back in that stock standard AI voice "No problem, I'm always here for you."
Both of my parents keep talking about how much use they get out of this new AI thing called Claude. My mother in particular -- of whom I love dearly -- likes to bring up that it's developers had hired real professional psychologists and philosophers to help guide Claude into making rational, moral descisions. They even gave it a "Soul Document," which outlined it's moral principles or whatever. What I've also heard is that the U.S. Military used Claude in it's recent bombings in Iran. Apparently, Claude itself was the one who suggested that they bomb Iran's schools for little girls. This AI is the same AI which the socially inept end up talking to because they're so afraid to look other people in the eye.
Imagine that: A mass child murderer being your therapist.
